Traffic Alert: Lane Restrictions Planned for Ingomar Road at McKnight

PennDOT plans single-lane traffic in both directions on Ingomar Road Tuesday and Wednesday while crews work on the bridge carrying McKnight Road above it.

Traffic on Ingomar Road will be restricted to a single lane in both directions Tuesday and Wednesday while crews work on the bridge that carries McKnight Road over the road, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation officials said.

The restrictions will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m both days, weather permitting, on the road in McCandless, PennDOT officials said. One lane will be open in each direction at all times.

Crews from Allison Park Contractors will be installing protective shields on the McKnight Road bridge. No restrictions will occur on McKnight Road.
