Vandals Damage Car by Throwing Object Onto I-279

State police are seeking the person or people who tossed an object from an overpass or roadside and damaged a passing car on Interstate 279 near the Bellevue/West View exit ramp on Sunday.

The driver of the car, identified as Murray Gordon, 58, of Pittsburgh, was not hurt when the object hit his car at 5:22 p.m. in Ross. Troopers estimated the cost of damage to his car at $250.
