Woman Sentenced To Prison In Attorney's Hit-And-Run Death

Melinda Gregor struck and killed Michael Menner on Babcock Boulevard in Ross in December 2017.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - Three months after a jury didn't buy Melinda Gregor's claim that she believed she hit a deer the night her vehicle struck and killed a Shaler attorney in December 2017, Gregor was sentenced to prison. Gregor will serve a three-to-six year sentence after being found guilty of charges related to the death of Michael Menner, 50.

Menner, 50.Menner was struck as he crossed Babcock Boulevard near Shenanigans Bar And Grill as he was going to pick up his son, an employee at the Philadelphia Pretzel Factory. Gregor had
just picked up a pizza with her daughter from Monte Cellos on Babcock.

Gregor took the stand at her trial, testifying that when something smashed into her windshield on that rainy night she was convinced it was a deer.
