$2,000 Reward for Iron Lakes Golf Cart Vandals

Vandals scattered 21 golf carts across Iron Lakes Golf Club and one cart is still missing, state police said.

Who stole and vandalized 21 golf carts at Iron Lakes Country Club?

Lehigh Valley Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $2,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the 10 to 15 people who pried open the siding of the golf club building at 3625 Shankweiler Road and entered it sometime between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. Monday, according to a news release.

The vandals then removed and damaged 21 golf carts as they scattered them across the course, the release said. Some of the golf carts were found in ponds and creeks on the course, one was found on Shankweiler Road, about a half-mile from Route 309, police said.

One golf cart is still missing, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Trooper Cutshaw at State Police at Bethlehem, 610-861-2026, or the Lehigh Valley Crime Stoppers at 800-426-TIPS. Callers do not have to give their names.
