Bingo in Schnecksville and Sports Camps This Week

The Christmas in July toy run will also be held this week in North Whitehall.

Lady Trojan Basketball Camp  Click here for flyer The 13th Annual Lady Trojan Basketball Camp will take place at Parkland High School on July 15-19th 9am-3pm., for children ages 8-15 or going into grades 3-9. Brochures can be found here: http://www.eteamz.com/ladytrojanbb.

Tuesday, July 16

Parkland School Board meets at 7 p.m. at the administration building, 1210 Springhouse Road, South Whitehall.

Trojan Cross Country Camp:  Click here for flyer  The goal is to promote running in a positive and fun environment. The aim is to focus on basic FUNdamentals to increase personal improvement. Camp will run from July 16th – 20th  from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. and is open to children ages 5-14. For more information, please contact Loretta Dodson at 610-395-2438.

The Parkland Community Library's Book Quest group for adults meets Tuesday at 7 p.m. to discuss 'The Tiger’s Wife,' a novel by Tea Obreht. The library is located at 4444 Walbert Ave.

Christmas in July toy run at KidsPeace. Motorcycle riders leave at noon from Werry’s Pub in Marshalls Creek and make their way to KidsPeace in Schnecksville, where they will be greeted by children and staff at Donley Therapeutic Education Center. There will be live music, food, an auction, raffle and games. Registration begins at Werry’s Pub at 10 a.m. 

The cost is $15 and $2.50 donation for children 12 and younger. Donations of new toys and clothes for children ages 10 to 18 are appreciated.
