Golf Course Road Bridge Closed, Phone Book Recycling Thursday in North Whitehall

Here's what's happening Thursday in North Whitehall Township.

• Parkland Community Library will accept book donations from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Thursday for its annual used book sale at the Asbury Methodist Church, 1533 Springhouse Road. The book sale will be Friday and Saturday.

• Golf Course Road bridge in Ironton will be closed for repairs until Aug. 19.

• Phone books will be collected for recycling until Aug. 16 at the Dumpster outside the North Whitehall Township municipal building.
