KidsPeace Christmas in July Toy Run on Saturday

Santa will be at KidsPeace to help unpack the sleigh stuffed with toys and clothes for children in the residential program.

Motorcyclists from around the state will participate in the annual Christmas in July toy run Saturday for children in the KidsPeace residential program.

The event has been sponsored by the Independent Bikers of Pennsylvania for the past 12 years.

Riders leave at noon from Werry’s Pub in Marshalls Creek and make their way to KidsPeace in Schnecksville, where they will be greeted by children and staff at Donley Therapeutic Education Center. There will be live music, food, an auction, raffle and games.

Santa will be on hand to unpack the sleigh stuffed with toys and clothes for children in the residential program. The event will be held rain or shine, and all vehicles are welcome. 

Registration begins at Werry’s Pub at 10 a.m.

The cost is $15 and $2.50 donation for children 12 and younger. Donations of new toys and clothes for children ages 10 to 18 are appreciated.
