LCCC Offers Training in Health Care Careers
LCCC Offers Training in Health Care Careers, including Pharmacy Tech, Phlebotomy Comprehensive, EDG Technician and Intro to Health Care
Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) offers short-term programs to assist students in learning the wide range of career skills available in the healthcare field. Classes are held at LCCC campuses in Allentown and Schnecksville and may include an additional cost for text materials. Programs lead to an industry certification tests in selected related fields.
Free information sessions are held the second Tuesday of the month at LCCC’s Donley Center to explore the programs that PATH has offered in the health care careers. Call 610-769-1942 for more information.
Pharmacy Technician Comprehensive training for those in retail, hospital, institutional pharmacy and manufacturing settings will be offered Tuesdays and Thursdays, Feb. 13 through June 7, from 8 to 11 a.m. Course fee is $1,535.

Twenty hours of Medical Terminology and 80 hours of Phlebotomy classroom and lab instruction are offered in the Phlebotomy Comprehensive course, which will be held Mondays and Wednesdays, Feb. 12 through June 11, from 6 to 9 p.m. Cost is $1,241.
EKG Technician and CPR Training offers a class on Mondays and Wednesdays, Feb. 26 through April 18, from 6 to 9 p.m. Cost is $945.

For individuals wanting to understand what career pathways LCCC offers in the medical field, the college is offering Introduction to Health Care Careers on Tuesday and Thursday, Feb. 27 and March 1, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Fee is $26.
