LCCC Parnters with PATH to Offer Training in Health Care Careers for Fall 2017
In a joint effort with PATH (Pennsylvania’s Advanced Training and Hiring), Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) now offers short-term programs to assist students in learning the wide range of career skills available in the healthcare field. Classes are held at LCCC campuses in Allentown, Schnecksville and Tamaqua. Most class fees are offered at a reduced rate through PATH grant funds until January 2018. Programs lead to an industry certification tests in selected related fields.
Free information sessions are held the second Tuesday of the month at LCCC’s Donley Center to explore the programs that PATH has to offer in the health care careers. Call 610-769-1345 for more information.
Health Care Administrative Assistant Certificate course will be held Sept. 25 through Dec. 8, weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and prepares students to work in non-patient contact health care positions. Fee is $580. Call 610-769-1345 for more information.

EKG Technician and CPR Training offer a class on Mondays and Wednesdays, Oct. 16 through Dec. 11 (no class Nov. 22), from 6 to 9 p.m. Cost is $901. Call 610-799-1942 for more information.
