North Whitehall Fire Companies Reach Out to Elementary Students
Tri-Clover, Neffs, Laurys Station and Schnecksville Fire Companies will visit North Whitehall Schools to recognize Fire Prevention Week.
Schnecksville Fire Chief Ron Stahley said the township's fire companies will visit Ironton, Schnecksville and Kernsville Elementary Schools this week in honor of Fire Prevention Week.
He said Schnecksville will be joined by Neffs Volunteer Fire Company, Laurys Station Fire Company and Tri-Clover Volunteer Fire Company and each will bring a piece of equipment so children can see what fire companies work with.
On Oct. 9 they will visit Kernsville Elementary and move on to Schnecksville Elementary. On Oct. 11 they will visit Ironton Elementary.

Stahley said he hopes Sparky the Dog will make an appearance.
