Orefield Resident Celebrates Gift of Life at Velodrome

Heart transplant recipient and Orefield resident celebrates Gift of Life at Valley Preferred Cycling

The first-ever Gift of Life Night at Valley Preferred Cycling (the Velodrome) in Trexlertown on June 14 featured four local heart recipients who spoke about their life-saving transplants with cycling fans to promote organ and tissue donation. The heart recipients are (from left): Dr. Neal Stansbury of Orefield, medical director of Valley Preferred Cycling; Bill Soloway of Yardley with his high-wheel Donate Life bike; and Todd Stickel and Jessica Will, both of Macungie. All four are ambassadors for donation with Gift of Life Donor Program. Visit donors1.org for more information and to register as a donor.
