Coroner Says 15-Year-Old's Death Still Unclear

Full report will take several months.

It’s going to take another three to four months before a cause of death is determined for a 15-year-old Easton Area High School student who collapsed on a basketball court one week ago.

According to the Northampton County Coroner’s office, additional tests are being conducted in order to determine what happened to Forks resident Lewis Ogioba.

Ogioba reportedly collapsed during a Lehigh Valley AAU Challenge Team basketball practice on Aug. 3 and died shortly after that at Easton Hospital. There is speculation that asthma may have played a role in his death, but the coroner has yet determine the actual cause.
