Five Things To Know This Week

Here’s five things to know happening in Palmer and Forks townships this week.

1. The Board of Supervisors will meet at 7pm Tuesday. The meeting will be held in the meeting room of the , 1 Weller Place.
2. The Planning Commission will meet at 7pm Tuesday in the municipal building, 1606 Sullivan Trail.
3. The Easton Area School Board will meet at 6:30pm Wednesday. The meeting had been set for Thursday but was pushed up a day earlier. The meeting will be held at the , 1801 Bushkill Drive, Forks Township.
4. Both Palmer and Forks townships will be handing out candy for Halloween on Monday, Oct. 31. Both municipalities will hand out the treats from 6pm to 8pm in their municipal buildings.
5. Forks Township Parks and Recreation is selling tickets to see the Philadelphia Flyers vs. the New Jersey Devils hockey game. The tickets are being sold for $80 for residents and $85 for non-residents. The game is scheduled for Jan. 12 in Newark. Tickets can be ordered online, or for more information call 484-239-1189.
