Five Things to Know This Week

It's Monday, Palmer and Forks townships. Here's a list of several things -- we extended it from "five things" -- to look for this week:

1. The Forks Township Board of Supervisors will meet at 7:30pm Thursday in the municipal building, 1606 Sullivan Trail. 
2. The Palmer Township Recreation Board will meet at 7:30pm Tuesday in the library meeting room, 1 Weller Place.
3. Palmer Community Days begin Wednesday with "Marmaduke" at dusk. Community Days will be held from Wednesday through Sunday at Fairview Park, Mine Lane.
4. The Easton Area Middle School will be hosting an informal walk-through for grades 5 and 6 students from 8am to 10am Thursday. The school is at 990 Echo Trail, Forks.
5. The Easton Area Middle School will host orientations for grades 7 and 8 students from 9am to 11:30am Thursday. The school is at 1010 Echo Trail, Forks.
6. The Easton Area School Board will hold a special meeting for appointing a Region III School Director at 6:30pm Thursday. The special meeting will be followed by the regular board meeting. The meeting will be at district offices at 1801 Bushkill Drive, Forks.
7. Forks Elementary School will host an elementary school tour from 11am to 11:30am Thursday. The school is at 1709 Richmond Road, Forks.
