Five Things to Look for This Week

Here's a list of five things to know this week happening in Palmer and Forks townships:

1. Wednesday is National Lollipop Day. To celebrate, Palmer Memorial Library, at 1 Weller Place, will give out a prize to the person who comes in and picks out a winning lollipop.
2. The Easton Area School Board will hold a special meeting at 6:30pm Thursday to interview candidates for Region III School Director. The meeting will be at the Education Center, 1801 Bushkill Drive, Forks Township.
3. The Easton Area School Board will hold its regular meeting following the special meeting. The meeting also will be at 1801 Bushkill Drive, Forks Township.
4. The Forks Township Board of Supervisors will meet at 7:30pm Thursday in the municipal building, 1606 Sullivan Trail.
5. Palmer Memorial Library will host Jennifer Murgia, author of "Lemniscate," at 2pm Saturday. Murgia will be on hand to talk about the new book and sign copies. All ages welcome to come.
