Five Things to Look for This Week

Candidates forums top the list

Here are five things to look out for this week in Palmer and Forks townships:

1.     Forks Zoning Hearing Board will meet at 7:30 tonight. Among the more notable items on the agenda will be a public hearing for an application for the replacement of a two-story dwelling along N. Delaware Drive that was destroyed in a fire earlier this year.  The owner would like to expand his property that would encroach on a neighboring side yard.

2.     The League of Women Voters and Parent Teachers Organization will host a Candidates Forum at 7 tonight at Cheston Elementary School. Candidates vying for the one available Region 2 seat on the Easton Area School Board will be on hand for the question-and-answer session. Cheston Elementary School is at 723 Coal St., Easton.
