Forks Man Charged With Welfare Fraud
State agency says Joseph Selitto III failed to report unemployment income.

A Forks Township man faces welfare fraud charges after allegedly collecting more than $8,000 in food stamps without reporting that he was also collecting unemployment benefits.
According to court records, Joseph Selitto III, 31, of 2700 Gila Drive, collected money from the state's Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program, claiming that his family's source of income was from his wife's paycheck.
But state investigators later learned Selitto had been collecting unemployment benefits from New Jersey, the records show.

Selitto was arraigned Monday before , and is free on $5,000 bail. Although he lives in Forks, the charges were filed through an Easton magistrate because the is in downtown Easton.
