Harvel Plastics President Earns Industry Honors
Patrick Foose has receives prestigious award from plastics industry

The president of a Forks Township plastics manufacturer has received top honors for his contributions to the industry.
. President Patrick Foose has received the 2011 Paul Davis Award of Merit, the highest honor given by the International Association of Plastics Distribution (IAPD) for his contributions to the industry and to the association, according to a release.
The award is named for the founder of the association and is presented annually to an individual who has made significant contributions to the association and to the plastics distribution industry.
Foose was presented with the award at the association’s recent annual convention and expo in Baltimore, MD. He was selected based on his work as former IAPD Board of Directors President, where he served as the first plastics manufacturer representative to hold the position, the release stated.

A resident of Bethlehem, Foose has been a member of the Harvel Plastics Board of Directors since 1993. He joined the company in 1981, was promoted to vice president of sales and marketing in 1989, and named chief operating officer in 2008.
Harvel Plastics, located on Kuebler Road, manufactures PVC and CPVC industrial piping and duct systems and other thermoplastic extrusions.
