Hooked On Books Moving to Palmer

They are calling it a relocation.

Hooked on Books, the used bookstore on Sullivan Trail in Forks Township, is moving to the William Penn Highway in Palmer Township in October.

Owner Chris Shoemaker announced in an email to Palmer-Forks Patch that the store is relocating from 1700 Sullivan trail to 3701 William Penn Highway.

The store is having a relocation sale starting Thursday and ending Sept. 30. The store if offering 60 percent off on most items.

With the exception of our New Release Hardcovers in the front of the store, the whole rest of the store will be on sale!  $1.00 - Paperbacks $2.00 - Trade Size $3.00 - Hardcovers.

No Credit will be able to be used and we will not be taking Donations or Trade ins during August, September, and October. The store will start taking books again at the new location in November. 

The store is also seeking help.

Shoemaker said that the store needs sturdy boxes and people to help pack and move.

If you'd like to bring us boxes please bring them during business hours at the Sullivan Trail store. If you would like to volunteer your time to help us pack, move, unpack, and set up during Oct. 14 through Oct. 31, let me Shoemaker know when, how many, what times and days you can help.
