Two Incumbents Defeated in Easton School Board Race

Mandarino and Hess lose in Region 1; incumbent Leonard-Ellison is nominated in Region 3.

Incumbent Easton Area School Board members Millie Mandarino and Jodi Hess  failed to retain their seats in Tuesday's primary, while incumbent Kerri Leonard-Ellison won a Democratic nomination, according to unofficial results.

Mandarino and Hess sought nominations for two of the three available Region 1 seats, each with a four-year term. But unofficial results show Bob Arnts, William Rider and Robert Fehnel winning nominations from both parties for the November ballot.

Meanwhile, it was the race for the four-year seat in Region 3 that came down to the wire.
