Pittsburgh Regional Winners Selected From Settlers Ridge and South Park Locations
Massage Envy Spa, the largest employer of massage therapists and estheticians in the United States, announced that it named 108 Therapists and Estheticians of the Year at its Annual Franchise Conference held in Las Vegas, Nev. In the Pittsburgh region, the winners are Kelly McKendree for Therapist of the Year and Marian Mroz for Esthetician of the Year.
Therapist of the Year winner, Kelly McKendree, is from Massage Envy Spa Settlers Ridge. Esthetician of the Year winner, Marian Mroz, is from Massage Envy Spa South Park.
Recognizing best-in-class service across the network, Massage Envy Spa’s Therapist of the Year program is an annual award encompassing a network of more than 1,000 Massage Envy Spa locations in the United States. From a group of dedicated and caring staff of more than 25,000 professional massage therapists and estheticians, winners were recognized for their high levels of professionalism, exceptional client care and consistently upholding the tenants of therapeutic touch.

According to the U.S. Department of Labor, employment for massage therapists is expected to increase through 23 percent from 2012 to 2022 – faster than all other occupations – adding 30,000 more jobs to the field. And U.S. News & World Report reported that massage therapy was named one of The Best Jobs in 2014 and one of The Best Health Care Jobs in 2014.
