As supervisor, Howell said he has a perfect attendance record, having attended some 142 meetings. He said he would like to continue as supervisor as the township faces the challenge of seeking new sources of revenue.
“We must do it through smart economic development,” said Howell. “We must preserve our farmland and open space.”

Earlier this year, Howell said in a press release announcing his election bid, “Replacing an antiquated post-World War II public works garage and greatly expanding Forks recreational opportunities for residents of all ages have been high priorities.”
Howell, originally from Easton, is a former attorney and financial services manager. He has been a Forks resident for eight years.
