Palmer Dollar Tree Hit in Lehigh Valley Burglary Spree

The Dollar Tree in Palmer Township was among stores hit in a monthlong burglary spree throughout the Lehigh Valley that netted $15,000 in cash.

Authorities said about $3,582 was stolen from the Dollar Tree store at 2499 Northampton St., Palmer Township, according to the Allentown Morning Call.

Richard Weatherspoon, 42, of Allentown, was arrested July 5 only hours after he broke into the Dollar Tree store at 1854 Stefko Blvd. in Bethlehem, the story states.

But he was charged Tuesday in seven other Dollar Tree burglaries, court records say.
