Tatamy Volunteer Fire Gears Up for Annual Parade

Parade set for July 9.

The Tatamy Volunteer Fire Company Parade set for July 9 should go off without a hitch, thanks to some help from Palmer Township.

On Monday, the township Board of Supervisors unanimously voted in favor of allowing the fire company to close a road in the township in order to set up for the annual event.

Commerce Lane will be closed to the public on that day between 4pm and 7pm  in order for the company to set up fire apparatus.

In addition to the firemen's parade at 5pm, the entire weekend will be filled with events. There is also a carnival scheduled for July 8 and 9.
