3 House Fires Top Forks Fire Report
House fires were reported on Betty and Penny Lanes and Vista Court.

The Forks Township Fire Department dealt with three house fires and two vehicle fires in a recent monthly report delivered to the Board of Supervisors by Fire Chief Chuck Chapman.
The fire department handled house fires on Betty and Penny lanes and Vista Court and vehicle fires at Route 248 and Newburg and Old Easton Road.
During May, the department handled 45 calls, including seven activated alarms and six vehicle accidents, the report states. In April, there were 25 calls.
There were also reports of three odor investigations, four wires down, one miscellaneous fire and one missing person.
The 45 calls took up 369.30 manpower hours and involved 94 units.
For May, the department also handled seven incidents in Stockertown and assisted on a brush fire in Upper Nazareth Township, a vehicle fire in Palmer Township and an accident in Lower Mount Bethel Township.
For the year through April, the Forks Fire Department has handled 131 calls for Forks Township, 14 for Stockertown, four for Palmer, three for Plainfield and one each for Upper Mount Bethel Township, Upper Nazareth Township, Tatamy and Lower Mount Bethel Township.
