Wilson police say a former Taylor Rental employee and her boyfriend rang up $2,600 in illegal charges on a company credit card earlier this year.

Jennifer Molnar and Jonathan Hall, both of the 900 block of South 25th Street, were charged Tuesday with stealing the card, which they used on small, everyday purchases at Wawa, Giant and Home Depot.

According to court records, police learned of the theft from a worker at Taylor Rental. The couple live in an apartment above the store, and Molnar is a former employee, police say.

Police say Molnar admitted to the theft when confronted, telling investigators she knew they were breaking the law, but "money was tight at home."

Hall, 33, is charged with access device fraud, conspiracy to commit access device fraud, and receiving stolen property. He was arraigned before District Judge Richard Yetter in Wilson, and was free on $5,000 bail.

Molnar, 30, access device fraud, conspiracy to commit access device fraud, theft and receiving stolen property. She was also arraigned before Yetter, and was free on $2,500 bail.
