Attempted Abduction At Ursinus College

Three men in ski masks pulled up in a car and grabbed a student, but fled when the student yelled for help, the college said.

COLLEGEVILLE, PA — Three men attempted to abduct a student at Ursinus College early Sunday morning, the school's campus safety division confirmed.

The incident occurred at 2:15 a.m. on 6th Avenue near Main Street.

A silver Honda or Accord with a Pennsylvania license plate pulled up alongside a student who was walking toward Main Street, and three men in ski masks got out.

Authorities said the men were "laughing and shouting an expletive," and they grabbed the student's arm.

The student yelled for help, and ultimately the men got back into the car and sped away down 6th Avenue.

According to campus safety, the men were "white, tall, and skinny, and possibly college-aged." Two of the men wore black clothing, and one wore a burgundy Penn State sweatshirt.
