Phoenixville Emergency Management said today, "This much rain could cause flash flooding and a significant amount of water on roadways. If you're on the road today and you're not sure if your car will make it through standing water, just be safe and don’t even try."

The emergency management office warned, "If there are barricades on the road, they’re there for a reason, and that reason is your safety. We promise, nobody has the time or energy to randomly put up barricades with the sole purpose of inconveniencing you. Do not drive around, and do not move them."
