The victim, Eric Brown, 26, had been playing basketball nearby, and was still carrying the basketball when he walked into the Star Social Club, located on 212 E. Market Street.

According to the DA, the Jacobs brothers began arguing with Brown, and tried to "lure him into an altercation."

Eventually, Tyrell Jacobs threw a punch at Brown, who did not respond to the assault, the DA said. Other patrons of the club intervened, and tried to get Brown to leave, but he would not go.

Security footage shows the verbal altercation continue for several more minutes, before Tyrell Jacobs punches Brown again. After the second punch, Brown came at him, and the three began fighting. The brothers then pursued Brown into a small room in the back of the club, both of them carrying firearms, where Brown had trapped himself. That's when Tyrell Jacobs shot Brown in the chest, the DA said.
