Chesco Man Had Loaded Gun In Carry-On Bag In Philly Airport: TSA
A local man was arrested after TSA found a loaded gun in his carry-on bag at the Philadelphia International Airport.

CHESTER COUNTY, PA — A loaded gun was found in the carry-on bag of a Chester County man over the weekend at Philadelphia International Airport, the TSA announced.
The incident occurred on Sunday, Dec. 1. Authorities did not specify the man's hometown.
Agents found a loaded 9 mm handgun in his carry-on bag.

TSA contacted the Philadelphia Police Department, which responded to the checkpoint, confiscated the firearm, and detained the man for questioning before arresting him on weapons violations.
Sunday's incident marked the 18th time that TSA officers have detected a gun a carry-on bag at the airport so far this year.
