Chesco Man Held on Multiple Child Porn Charges
Devon judge orders man held after the defendant waives his right to hear extremely graphic evidence against him in open court.

A 31-year-old East Goshen man waived his right to a preliminary hearing in Devon District Court Wednesday morning and is being held on $150,000 cash bail in Chester County Prison.
Robert Peters Miller IV waived his right to hear graphic evidence in the case against him and was ordered to stand trial by Magesterial Dostroct Judge Thomas Tartaglio during a brief court appearance in Devon Wednesday.
Miller faces more than 30 felony counts, including possession and dissemination of child pornography and child sexual abuse after State Police say they found explicit pornographic videos on laptop and desktop computers, a tablet and external drives seized from the home Miller shared with his mother in East Goshen.
According to an affidavit of probable cause filed in the case, State Police say Miller was present when his house was being searched and admitted to searching for downloading, and sharing child pornography over the internet. According to court documents, Miller's computers had videos depicting extremely graphic and violent sex acts involving girls as young as eight years old and as old as 14 being assaulted by adults.
The case will now move to the Chester County Court of Common Pleas in West Chester.
The case was heard in Devon because the Chester County District Court jurisdiction lines are being redrawn. The Devon Court is scheduled to be closed and moved to East Goshen by early next year. As a result cases from the former East Goshen jurisdiction are being heard by Judge Tartaglio in Devon.
