A Chester County woman did something this summer that most people don't get to do.
She celebrated her 105th birthday.
Kay McMullen received a special surprise birthday party at the regular meeting of her Senior Group in Caln Township on Wednesday.

McMullen is the township's oldest region, officials confirmed.
She has lived in Caln since 1932.

Television crews were on hand on Wednesday to capture her surprise when she came into the room filled with balloons and cake.
McMullen, at 105, is still ambulatory and was walking around as she was interviewed.
Her actual birthday was Aug. 30, according to the township.
