Collegeville, Schuylkill Twp. Among Top 100 Places To Live In PA
What do you think, local residents? A new list of the 100 best places to live in Pennsylvania includes Collegeville and Schuylkill Twp.
COLLEGEVILLE, PA — A new list of the 100 best places to live in Pennsylvania includes Collegeville, along with several other local Montgomery County communities. Schuylkill Township also made the list. Phoenixville, however, did not.
The list was released by Niche, a website that analyzes neighborhoods, school districts and colleges. Sixty one Philadelphia-area communities cracked the top 100, including several in the Montgomery County and Chester County area.
To calculate the rankings and assign grades to communities, Niche looks at factors like the quality of local schools, crime rates, housing trends, employment statistics and access to amenities. Niche gets its data from government sources like the Department of Education, the FBI and the U.S. Census.
