Construction Of Firebird For 2019 Festival Begins Soon
It's that time of year already. The first Firebird building session is just over a month away.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Summer is still at its peak, but as the calendar slowly flips toward December, organizers are preparing for the 2019 Phoenixville Firebird Festival.
The first building session for the 2019 Firebird will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14 at Veteran's Field.
Members of the community are invited to join in the construction.

The giant bonfire has sent the massive Firebird, made of wood, up in flames for several years in a row in December in celebration of the mythical Phoenix and the "rebirth" of Phoenixville. Several thousand people attend the event annually. 2019 will mark the 16th year of the Firebird.
