Four Renaissance Academy Girl Scouts were recognized by the Girl Scouts of Eastern PA (GSEP) as achieving the status of "Cookie Boss" .
PHOENIXVILLE, PA – Today during the weekly lower school assembly meeting, four Renaissance Academy Girl Scouts were recognized by the Girl Scouts of Eastern PA (GSEP) as achieving the status of “Cookie Boss” through the Girl Scout Cookie Program.
In honor of National Women’s Entrepreneurship Day, the four Cookie Bosses from Renaissance Academy who include Isabel Arobone (4th grade), Charlotte Cronk (3rd grade), Peyton Boyle (6th Grade), and Brendalynn Boyle (10th grade), were presented with commemorative “super-hero” capes by Dr. Gina Guarino Buli, CEO of Renaissance Academy.
GSEP describes a Cookie Boss as a young woman who has shown dedication, drive, and determination, a G.I.R.L. (Go Getter, Innovator, Risk Taker, Leader). Those identified as Cookie Bosses have proven to be entrepreneurial powerhouses who have reached a level of selling over 1000 boxes of cookies during a 3-month cookie selling period.

Dr. Guarino Buli, said during the presentation that, as the mother of a Girl Scout who participates in the Cookie Program herself, she fully understands just what a remarkable accomplishment this is for the girls. While each of the honored girls’ individual cookies sales totaled 1000 boxes or more, Brendalynn said that she and her cousin, Peyton, worked cookie booths together at restaurants and store fronts.
