Firebird Fest Seeks Donations
Construction continues on the bird that will burn as organizer look for more help.
The Phoenixville Firebird Festival, which is a private volunteer-driven event not supported financially by any government is looking for more private donations.
In a posting this weekend on Facebook the all-volunteer group that stages the event says:
- Please help The Firebird Festival to fly over the $3,000 mark for funds raised by the end of this week. We are very close right now, and your gift could get us there by Friday!
- All money raised in this campaign will go into making the 2013 festival possible and sustainable. We have about 30 days remaining to raise funds.
- If all of the people who "Like" this Phoenixville Firebird Festival Facebook page chipped in a minimum gift of $5.00 to our Indiegogo campaign, we'd be over our goal for 2013!
- Please be generous and help keep the Firebird shining.
- Thank you to all who have already given a gift!
