Greg Sestero Of Cult Classic 'The Room' Coming To Phoenixville
Star of the cult film "The Room" Greg Sestero is coming to the Colonial Theatre, where audience members can join him in reading scenes.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — The Colonial Theatre has brought is some big names over the years, but fans of cult cinema will be especially excited by the newest announcement.
Greg Sestero, star of the classic absurdity "The Room," will be attendance at a special upcoming screening of the film at the Colonial. Audience members will have the chance to join him in reading selected scenes before the start of the show.
Hailed in some circles as the worst movie ever made, yet simultaneously the best, the 2003 creation of Tommy Wiseau has received renewed attention in recent years. That's part due to James Franco's 2017 comedy biopic, "The Disaster Artist," which traced the origins of "The Room" as well as its creators.

Sestero and Wiseau star in the film, which does have a plot, but, more importantly, has numerous sub-plots which go nowhere and are included for no reason.
The event will take place on the Colonial's 17th Anniversary, Friday, June 5, at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets include the special script reading, a Q&A session with Sestero as well as a meet and greet in the lobby, a showing the film, and a behind the scenes "Making of The Room" documentary.
Tickets are $25 for adults and $23 for members. They go on sale on Friday, Feb. 14 at 12:30 p.m. online here.
