John 'Jack' Taggart, Worked In Phoenixville, Dies At 86
John H. Taggart was a Korean War veteran who enjoyed New Jersey shore life in retirement.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA —John 'Jack' Harry Taggart passed away on Nov. 12 at the age of 86.
John Taggart lived most recently in Ocean City, NJ with his wife Barbara Wunderlich, whom he married 47 years ago on Assateague Island National Seashore.
Born July 15, 1934 in Phoenixville, he was the son of the late John P. Taggart and Helen Myers. He worked in the Phoenixville steel industry early in life, and later worked in care for mental health, in and around the Philadelphia region.

Upon retirement he moved to New Jersey with his wife, where they both settled down and worked as beach taggers in Cape May, NJ.
Taggart was a U.S. Army veteran who served in the Korean War. He loved horse racing, watching dolphins in the ocean waters, and always enjoyed a good slice of pizza.

He leaves behind his wife and his son John Taggart of Brooklyn, New York, as well as his stepsons Mike Wunderlich of Pottstown and Timothy Wunderlich of Wilkes Barre.
