Local Hero: Adina Rowan

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

Hero's job: Founder of the You Are Worth It Foundation

Reason for recognition: Adina started YAWI to help the less fortunate. She runs the primary food pantry for Chester County in Rofo and took charge with NorCo fire victims, relocating and providing resources, food and clothing.

One thing to know: She is a mother of three who spends all of her time giving back to our community.
