Local Students Help Salvation Army

Students, their families and the staff of Chesterbrook Academy in Oaks made a special delivery to the Salvation Army Monday.

Chesterbrook Academy students, parents and teachers have been collecting canned goods, non-perishable food items, and new or gently used coats since the beginning of November.

On Monday student representatives were welcomed by Majors of the Salvation Army and got a tour of the Salvation Army's Norristown facility. Students presented  their donations and enjoyed pizza and hot chocolate with Salvation Army staff.
