Local Tree Company Helps Rescue Trapped Phoenixville Cat
Stuck high in a tree with freezing temperatures on the way, this local kitty was in dire need of help.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Stuck high in a tree with freezing temperatures on the way, one local kitty was in dire need of help on Tuesday.
Fortunately, that's when a nearby Tree Cutting Service business owner stepped in.
Phoenixville resident Ericka Killian noticed the trapped cat on Tuesday morning and began asking around for help, as related by the Lost and Found Pets of Spring City, Royersford, Phoenixville, Kimberton, an online animal welfare community which helps reconnect local families to their lost furry friends.

Killian and others were worried about the extreme temperatures and precipitation on the way.
Fortunately, Brett Brooks, owner of Precision Tree Care LLC, based in Brookhaven, answered the call.

Brooks came to the house in question, climbed up a ladder into the tree, and was able to rescue the cat before the inclement weather arrived.
According to the Lost and Found group, the cat was brought safely to a nearby veterinarian, where she is receiving care and recovering.
