Longtime Phoenixville Woman, Choir Member, Aged 96, Passes Away
Phoenixville's Virginia Wright, 96, loved the children's choir, crafting, and knitting.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Virginia M. Wright, age 96, wife of the late William C. Wright, of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017 in the Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville. Born on April 20, 1921 in Reading, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Norman and AnnaSabella (Delp) Moyer.
Mrs. Wright was a graduate of Royersford High School, and attended Pierce Business School. She worked as a secretary during her career. Mrs. Wright was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Phoenixville, where she a member of the choir, would accompany the children's choir, and was a member of the Women's Guild. She enjoyed crafting and knitting, and was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Wright is survived by two daughters, Cheryl, wife of Anthony Amanto of Phoenixville, PA and June Wright of Phoenixville, PA; and one grandson, Jonathan Amanto.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Officiating will be Rev. Raymond J. Jachowski. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the St. John's U.C.C., 315 Gay Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
