The auction will run through Feb. 13. Fuller said the PACS Facebook will make auction announcements.
"Due to the pandemic, we had to re-think our Empty Bowls event, which is our largest fundraiser of the year,” said Fuller. "We’ve teamed up with Mayor Urscheler to make a simple meal of soup and give viewers a behind-the-scenes tour of how we’ve transformed our new building at 101 Buchanan Street. And you won’t want to miss our online auction. We’ve got some interesting and fun items."

In October PACS moved to its current location at 101 Buchanan St. in Phoenixville. At more than 23,000 square feet, the building is essential to housing and distributing healthy, nutritious food.
Appointments to receive food from PACS have tripled since the onset of the pandemic. As a result, there is a large need for donations. In fact, PACS has received more than 45,000 requests for food and has been supplying more than 12 other agencies, including churches and senior centers, with food for their members.
Now, the PACS team is working to raise much-needed funds for its new location and to help secure the future of PACS in Phoenixville for years to come.
Anyone who wishes to help can donate to the PACS’ Building the Future of Food Security campaign here.
All donations will be matched by Phoenixville Community Health Foundation. PACS is a model for community feeding community, working to ensure food is available for those who need it around Phoenixville.

Patch has partnered with Feeding America to help raise awareness on behalf of the millions of Americans facing hunger. Feeding America, which supports 200 food banks across the country, estimated that in 2020, more than 50 million Americans would not have enough nutritious food to eat due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. This is a Patch social good project; Feeding America receives 100 percent of donations. Find out how you can donate in your community or find a food pantry near you.
