More Trouble For Kane: Reports of FBI Probe

Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane, already under indictment by the Montgomery County district attorney, is facing more trouble, according to a report Tuesday.

The Legal Intelligencer reported that Kane is “said to be the focus of inquiries in multiple investigations at both the federal and state level,” including an FBI probe and a Philadelphia grand jury. These investigations are said to be separate from the case for which Kane was indicted.

Charges against Kane, which alleged that the attorney general leaked confidential information to the press and then lied about it, were brought earlier this month.
