Music Review – Jesse Terry – When We Wander
Update about a musician who often performs in Phoenixville

Wanted you to know that I’m really enjoying the latest release from Jesse Terry (When We Wander). It’s his seventh full-length album and his song writing skills seem to be as sharp as ever.
Jesse comes around our area often each year and, after a little ‘break’ last year due to various 'circumstances,' he’s slated to return to our area for a few events as restrictions continue to relax. That’s a good thing since the stage has basically been Jesse's home for a decade. He usually plays around 150 shows a year, from the Philadelphia Folk Festival, to Bonnaroo, from our Steel City Coffeehouse to various house concerts & outdoor performances in our nearby parks. When the pandemic canceled concerts and delayed the album's release, he pivoted to performing online and found a strong new connection to his fans, who had helped fund his albums all along.
The record was recorded in Nashville with producer Neilson Hubbard and includes some vocal contributions from Mia Rose Lynne as well as local favorite Liz Longley. The rest of the participants includes some of Music City’s very best, including guitarist/mandolinist Will Kimbrough, violinist Eamon McLoughlin, and lap steel player Juan Solorzano. Dean Marold handles both acoustic and electric bass with Josh Kaler (pedal steel), and Danny Mitchell (piano & harmonica). Together, that create AMAZING musical moments!

Ironically, 2021 may prove to be the most productive year of Jesse’s career. In addition to this release, he also has a covers album and a holiday album due to be released as well.
