An access point to the north side of the borough will be closed off for weeks as a construction project gets underway.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — A key access point to the north side of the borough will be closed off for weeks as a new construction project gets underway in Phoenixville.
Part of N. Main Street in Phoenixville will be shut down for around six weeks so that crews can work on the railroad bridge, officials announced.
The bridge jack project will aim to improve the structural integrity of the bridge. The bridge has seen numerous tractor-trailers become lodged under it over the years.
