New Brewery To Open In Phoenixville

There’s a new brewery in town.

Stable 12 Brewing Company is opening up on Bridge Street on Saturday, July 18.

There will be 10 beers on tap, including an Amber Ale, Pale Ale, Weizen, Blonde, IPA, Munich Helles, Imperial Stout, Double IPA and Irish Stout.

The business was started by three friends who had known each other since middle school.

CEO and Founder Richard Wolf, a Skippack native, was the equestrian team while attending Penn State.

Wolf, along with Tyler Fontaine and Chris Carbutt, kept in touch over the years and began brewing at a vacant barn on the family horse farm where they had all spent time together growing up, according to their website.

At their launch party on July 18, there will be raffles, tours of the brewery, and barbeque from Uncle B’s BBQ Shack.
