CHESTER COUNTY, PA — Chester County is getting a new medical marijuana dispensary, set to open this month.
National chain Beyond / Hello will officially open up its doors on Dec. 18. It's located at 1261 West Chester Pike in West Goshen.
A special free open house event will be held on Friday, Dec. 6, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. This time slot will allow individuals without medical marijuana cards to explore the new space.

It will mark the sixth location of Beyond / Hello in Pennsylvania, and the fifth to open in 2019.
Patients who want to access medical marijuana must obtain a physician's certification from an approved doctor proving that they suffer from one of 17 serious medical conditions. A registration process is then required for patients to receive a medical marijuana card, allowing them access to state-licensed dispensaries.

"Beyond / Hello is one of the fastest-growing East Coast retailers with a team dedicated to increasing access to medical marijuana to patients,” Jim Cacioppo, CEO and Chairman of Beyond / Hello's owners, Jushi, said in a statement.
Beyond / Hello will carry a wide range of medical marijuana products, including oils and oil cartridges, concentrates, pills, capsules, tinctures, topicals, and numerous other products. A licensed pharmacist will be on hand to help customers.
The store's hours will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday through Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday through Saturday, and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
