KING OF PRUSSIA, PA – Single-lane travel can be expected next week on westbound US-422 between Lewis Road and Evergreen Road. Beginning Monday, July 6, a right lane will be closed from 7 p.m. to 2 p.m. the next day for pavement repair. The single-lane traffic pattern will repeat Monday through Friday, and will continue Friday and Saturday, July 10-11, from 7-10 p.m.

In addition, Lewis Road between Linfield Road and Linfield Trappe Road will be reduced to a single lane in each direction on Tuesday, July 7, from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. for barrier removal and guide rail installation.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said the work is part of a pavement rehabilitation and repair project for seven structures along a 5-mile section of US-422 between the Royersford/Trappe and Sanatoga interchanges in Limerick and Lower Pottsgrove townships in Montgomery County. PennDOT contractor H & K Group Inc. will mill, overlay and rehabilitate existing U.S. 422 pavement; perform bridge deck repairs, concrete and joint patching, sealing and drainage improvements; install new guide rail and rumble strips; and repair or replace damaged traffic signs along the corridor, over the next two years.
