PennDOT Repaving Pawlings Road Monday and Tuesday

Traffic on Pawlings Road in Schuylkill Township will be tougher than usual for the next couple days, according to the Phoenixville Department of Emergency Management.

PennDOT has reduced the road down to one lane as crews work on milling and repaving the street damaged by the winter elements. According to information from Schuylkill Township, one lane will be open from the bridge to Ferry Road, with flaggers stationed to control traffic.

There may be intermittent closures on Pawlings Road between Ferry and Valley Forge Road (Route 23), according to the information.
